Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd Tribute Columbus Concert reviews
Star Wars in Concert was INCREDIBLE!!!
The narrator, the displays, the characters available for pictures, the chorus, the music -- each was extraordinary in its own right, and when put together as a package, there are barely words to describe the experience. Before the concert began, exhibits were set up from Lucasfilms (I believe), showcasing all six films. Anthony Daniels (C3PO) was one of the best narrators we have had the pleasure of listening to. The live orchestra certainly did it justice, the music is so moving and inspiring. Members of the 501st (live members of a group in authentic Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd Tribute costumes) were available to have your photo taken with them. No charge! Everything else was just as good. Even the food was rather tasty. The only negative for us, was the size of the seats. We had floor seats, fairly close to the front, and the seats were so narrow and placed together so tightly, that it was pretty uncomfortable - better to buy cheaper seats and be more comfortable. On the plus side, the concert was so magnificent, we temporarily forgot about the discomfort.
